Aurum Elite · For Families

One team.
Every member of
your family.

A named doctor, a personal relationship manager, and complete care coordination — for every person in your household. From infants to adults, from the first appointment to every year that follows.

Aurum Elite is one team for every member of your family — a named doctor, a personal relationship manager, and complete care coordination from the moment you join. Whether you arrive in New Zealand next month or have lived here for years without a healthcare team that truly knows your family — the experience of care that already holds the whole picture is the same. From infants to adults, from the first appointment to every year that follows. No chasing referrals. No starting over with a stranger. Just a team that knows your family — and stays.

Care you can rely on
Family medicine

Your doctor practises family medicine — understanding how each person in your household connects to the others. From infant milestones to teenage health to adult wellbeing, your team holds the complete clinical picture of your family.

Vocationally registered doctors

Your family's doctors hold vocational registration in New Zealand — the highest tier of general practice recognition. Full prescribing rights. Postgraduate specialist training in family medicine. All clinical support is delivered by registered professionals within their defined scope of practice.

Vocational registration in general practice is awarded by the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners. It requires completion of a three-year specialist training programme beyond standard medical registration — covering family medicine, clinical complexity, and continuity of care. In New Zealand, only vocationally registered GPs may hold certain leadership and supervisory roles within general practice.

In practical terms: your Aurum doctor has specifically trained to care for your family across every stage of life — from infants to adults, from acute illness to long-term health management. Your doctor holds full prescribing rights under New Zealand law, including the ability to prescribe controlled medications where clinically appropriate.

Clinical privacy

What your family shares with their clinician stays there. Your teenager's consultation is their own. Your family's health information is protected by the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the professional obligations of your registered doctor. Nothing is shared without your consent.

On your schedule

Healthcare that fits around your life. Telehealth consultations are available by video, voice, or message — from anywhere in New Zealand, at a time that suits your calendar. When the appointment arrives, your doctor is prepared and ready for you. No waiting room. No running behind. The doctor is waiting for you — not the other way around.

The morning you realise someone else is holding the plan.

Health records reviewed. Medications mapped — your doctor has confirmed what's available immediately and is managing any that need additional steps. Appointments in the diary for every family member. From the moment you join, your team is already prepared.

“Ten-minute appointments were never designed for the complexity of a family's health — or the relationships that make care actually work.”

A year from now.

Your doctor knows your children by name, by history, by temperament. Your relationship manager anticipates what's next before you think to ask. This is not a transaction renewed. It is a relationship that has deepened — with every conversation, every check-in, every quiet moment where someone held the plan so you didn't have to.

From birth · Growing up

Every child in your household.
Known, by name.

Children receive the same standard of telehealth GP care as every adult in your household. Your doctor manages their ongoing health, prescribes where appropriate, and holds their complete clinical record — building a picture of your child across every consultation, every year.

When face-to-face care is needed — a physical examination, an acute illness, or anything that benefits from in-person assessment — your Aurum doctor coordinates the referral to an appropriate provider, manages the handoff, and holds the follow-up. You don't find your own way. The thread returns to your team.

For children from birth to five, Aurum supports your family's access to the WellChild Tamariki Ora programme — New Zealand's funded child health schedule, which includes Well Child checks, the B4 School Check at age four, and vaccination coordination. Your Aurum doctor holds the clinical picture alongside the programme. Nothing falls through the gap between providers.

Families who think carefully about their children's education tend to bring the same thinking to their health. A doctor who has known your child from the beginning is clinically, not just personally, irreplaceable.

Your relationship manager coordinates the logistics — appointments, referrals, follow-up calls — so you never have to chase anything on behalf of your child.

Private care · Public entitlements

Your Aurum doctor works alongside
New Zealand's public system.

Aurum doesn't replace your family's access to New Zealand's public system — it holds the thread across everything. When public entitlements, funded programmes, or in-person care are the right choice, your doctor coordinates the pathway and manages the follow-up. You are guided at every step.

Children's public entitlements — coordinated alongside your Aurum care

Your relationship manager coordinates access to New Zealand's funded child health services — including WellChild Tamariki Ora checks from birth to five years, the B4 School Check at age four, and the national vaccination schedule. Your Aurum doctor holds the clinical picture across all providers. Nothing falls through the gap.

After-hours and urgent care — your family is always guided

Aurum operates Monday to Friday. When urgent care is needed outside those hours, your relationship manager will always direct your family to the right resource — Healthline (0800 611 116), your nearest after-hours clinic, or the emergency department. For medical emergencies, call 111.
